Dinah married into Chantris, becoming the wife of Cyrus after a rather eventful five-decade long courtship. Upon Parris's death she became Duchess Chantris, which she still seems to be trying to wrap her head around. Originally from Manzanil, a port of Minos, some of the more tightly-laced family members whisper that she's little more than a damned pirate. The rumors, of course, are very much true. She serves as Ambassador to Amber from the sailing kingdom, as well as Admiral of the Fleet. Oh, and she just also happens to be the daughter of Prince Caine of Amber, if the other rumors have any bit of truth to them.

Despite this, the woman's love for music is no hidden thing. She can often be found, when in the House, with an instrument of some sort in hand. Her favorite, however, seems to be a Solaris lute, gifted to her by Beatrice. Her private, Minosian ship is The Golden Apple, a rather large and well-armed frigate. She does, however, also lay claim to a Chantris-built ship, a small sloop aptly named Cacophony.

Eyes of bright blue, like the clearest of seas, gaze out from a face of rounded curves and graceful cheekbones. The wide eyes are left unenhanced, only a fan of dark golden lashes surrounding them. Her lips are plump and glossed, and her skin holds the tanned tone of one who spends the majority of their time in the sun. Blonde hair in various shades that range from sun-bleached to almost light brown tumbles down past her shoulders in curls and tiny braids adorned with glimmering beads and occasional charms. A chain of gold holds a finely crafted compass-rose pedant. Around her left ring finger is a band of gold, twelve princess-cut diamonds adorning it in a channel-setting. It is accompanied by a finely-wrought wedding band of gold.

Black leather pants cover her legs from the knee boots all the way up to the belted waist. They fit comfortably close, yet are still loose enough to allow some freedom of movement. A corset of deep green leather holds her curves, shaping and constricting them. The shirt beneath is of pale gold satin, a swordwoman's blouse with sleeves that puff and then gather into black leather bracers. A duo of leather belts criss-cross, riding low on her hips, the belt fashioned into a antiqued gold sea serpent. Her blade is hilted at the left hip, a scarf of seagreen trailing from the hilt.
